I do not take insurance at this time. I do take HSA/FSA, or I can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to determine whether out-of-network Medical Nutrition Therapy is covered by your plan. Submission for payment, communication surrounding reimbursement, and mediation is your responsibility.
Alternatively, I do offer a sliding scale for some of my services. You can read more about it here.
I specialize in school-aged children and teens, ages 4-18. I have occassionally supported clients as young as 9-months and as experienced as 70-something, but this depends on whether I feel I can truly help. We discuss these details in our free discovery call. If I cannot support your needs, I have a wide network of amazing colleagues to recommend.
I am currently licensed in Maryland, Florida, and the District of Columbia. For 1:1 consultations, I can practice in some other states but this laregly depends on your location and your state regulations. Contact me below or book a free discovery call and I will determine if I can legally consult with you via secure teleconferencing. Courses and group programming are available anywhere.
I will listen to your story, take a complete medical history, explore your child’s relationship to food, and ask about their current lifestyle habits. During the first consultation, I’ll help you to identify both short-term and long-term goals, develop plans to meet these goals, and coach you or your child toward success.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our first meeting. Session structure can vary based on the age and needs of your child, which will be discussed in your discovery call. If you are planning to submit a superbill to insurance for reimbursement, your child MUST be present for at least part of every meeting.
